Its mops have the same power as the vacuums and has a more appealing design than Roomba. Although it doesn't have a remote control, its smart capabilities make up for this omission. It is easy to start or stop a cleaning process or schedule it and modify the settings of the device with the app.

4. Shark ION XL

Shark's top-of-the-line self-emptying robot vacuum, the ION XL is an excellent choice for people looking for hands-free cleaning and the highest level of performance. The vacuum comes with an enormous bin that can store one month's worth of dirt, and the base can be programmed to automatically empty it at the end of each cleaning run for storage that lasts longer. The ION XL is one of the top robot vacuums on the market for both carpets and hard floors, and it can also sweep and mop your floor. It can be controlled via an app or voice commands, and you can also create an outline of your home to clean each room at the click of a button. The robot can also do an excellent job of maneuvering around furniture and can even navigate stairs and fully-carpeted rooms easily.

I tested the ION XL in a family and kitchen room with hardwood flooring, area rugs, and a standard test for debris. It did an excellent job cleaning up debris and pet hair from the floors, and picked up some of the more difficult crumbs on carpets. It was also adept at maneuvering and didn't bump into my bar stools as did the iRobot j7+ in this test. The only downside is that the ION XL can't detect cords, toys and shoes that may be in its path therefore you'll need to clean your home prior to using this vacuum if you want it to stay clear of these items.

The ION XL robot cleaner is not as intelligent as the iRobot J7+ but it's a good alternative if you don't need to spend more than $500 on a robot. It's superior to the eufy RoboVac 11S in most ways it is also simpler to maintain and incurring lower recurring costs. It's also superior Best Self Emptying Robot Vacuum at vacuuming bare flooring and picking up pet fur, but isn't as effective on low- or carpets with higher pile.

It's not as well-built as the Roborock S8, but it is a great option. The ION XL has a large bin capacity, it is controlled via an app and voice command, and it is easy to keep up with maintenance. It's also a good price.
