The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. This quietest robot vacuum can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can select the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do, and it can even remove pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot says it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice statement but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than a vibrating pad.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or Vacuum Mop Robot Cleaner watch television without interruption. If it comes across a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The app will only alert you when something is not right like low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that needs to be removed frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can also clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum combo mop and vacuum is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the house. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease without getting stuck in messy areas. The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
