The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do, to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of the button. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot mop and vacuum combo (Full Post) that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and Robot mop and vacuum combo then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something is in need of attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium bagless robot vacuum mop and vacuum with all the features you can wish for. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
